Economically Sustainability in times of Fast Fashion

In an ecosystem driven by speed and excess, ALTER rethinks how we engage with fashion. This UI/UX project explores economic sustainability within the fast fashion landscape, bringing together locally and globally sourced brands that prioritise conscious production and long term value. The platform is designed to make cost, impact, and choice more visible, helping users navigate fashion consumption with greater awareness and intention.

Through structured interfaces, clear information hierarchies, and decision support tools, ALTER shifts the focus from impulse buying to informed selection. The experience highlights price transparency, product longevity, and responsible alternatives, positioning sustainability not as an afterthought but as a core user journey.

Developed as a classroom project, ALTER is a speculative digital platform that examines how interface design can influence more economically sustainable fashion behaviours.
